This week, during our Corporate and Securities Law project
discussion, a group member told us that he had gotten case answers from the
previous semester. The group had mixed feelings about copying the answers.
Suddenly one member spoke up and said she couldn’t accept it because it was
plainly dishonest and she really felt that we were “better than that”.
I think my friend had a leadership moment and showed some courage to
make a stand against unethical conduct.
In such a competitive society, we always need leaders to stand up and be
a moral compass for their followers.
